Most of us worked in public accounting firms where you might have been handed a new client’s books and know something was wrong. A transaction that had been classified as “misc” for 18 months. A reconciliation that had not been done since the software had been installed. We continued to fix the same mess for different people, and finally asked why no one had built a bookkeeping service that just… didn’t let it get so bad in the first place.
The long version: how US Virtual Accountants started. We are a small team, not a single overworked freelancer. When you email us, someone actually knows your account and can respond without digging through your files. We work exclusively in QuickBooks Online and Xero, we close your books monthly instead of once a year, and if something seems off, we tell you before it becomes a problem.
